Apple Sox Tickets
Our club volunteers its time each season to assist with ticket sales and admissions for the local Apple Sox Baseball games. This opportunity allows us to engage with the community while enjoying the summer outdoors. It has become a valuable and longstanding tradition for our members. The money fundraised during this time goes towards our children's Holiday Christmas Party.

White Cane Days
Raises funds for the Northwest Lions Foundation for Sight and Hearing and the Lions Eye Bank. Responsible for securing location and scheduling volunteers to collect donations. Major project for White Cane Days is in April or May, but Wenatchee Central Lions does it in October. Brings supplies for Lions to put together at a meeting in September or October.

Eyeglass Services
In 1925 Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become "Knights of the blind in a battle against darkness". Since then, preventing blindness and improving vision have been a major objective of Lions Club International. Melvin Jones said, "You can't get very far without doing something for someone else". Thus Northwest Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center continues the fight against blindness worldwide.

Apple Blossom Pageant
Each year, our club organizes and oversees the Apple Blossom Pageant, a local scholarship pageant that provides senior girls the opportunity to earn scholarships and a place on the Apple Blossom Court.

Apple Blossom Royalty Luncheon
Following the Apple Blossom Pageant, we will host the newly crowned Queen and two Princesses at one of our club meetings. During this gathering, we will share information about the Lion's Heart and discuss the various ways we volunteer and contribute to our community.

We Serve
Our club places flags throughout the community in different areas for 5 major holidays. To sign up for this please visit our Applications page.
